Maggard V3 Standard Chrome/RazoRock UFO 316L SS Double-Edge FrankenRazor

I generate a new FrankenRazor every time I buy a new safety razor, because there’s only one handle I use. I’ve been having a blast putting together Frankenrazors, so I’ve bought some parts from Fendrihan, Maggard, Parker, RazoRock, and West Coast Shaving then started assembling Frankenrazors to exponentially increase the variety of quality partsrazors to choose from! Even more fun! (Also, if there’s a certain head/handle combo you want that I don’t have but can be made from what I have listed, I can put together a custom Franken/PartsRazor for you, ask me for a quote)! I really don’t profit much if even at all after fees and shipping, I mainly do this to encourage/promote traditional wet shaving/DE shaving, because it’s a better, more affordable, eco-friendly, more fun way to shave. What we have here is a brand-new Maggard V3 Standard Head in chrome on a brand-new RazoRock CNC-machined solid 316L stainless steel mid-length UFO handle, along with a PAA Buffer Ring to protect the plating on the bottom plate from the harder stainless handle. From RazoRock; (Handle Only) RazoRock UFO Razor Handle – 316L Stainless Steel The very grippy, high polished, UFO razor handle from RazoRock is our newest addition to the RazoRock handle offering. As you can probably figure out, we call this handle the UFO because of its saucer-like knob near the end of the handle which gives a great tactical feeling. The handle is FULL CNC milled from marine-grade 316L stainless steel and then highly polished. The RazoRock UFO handle will work with most modern DE safety razors including the offerings from RazoRock, Merkur, Edwin Jagger, iKon, Muhle, and Parker. Threading: M5 x .8 Material: 316L stainless steel (Marine Grade) Grip: Deep diamond knurling Handle Diameter: 13 mm Handle Length: 85 mm Weight: ~2.3 oz (65 grams) Finish: Please note, these razors are tools, not jewels. We use a vibratory tumbling finish process which maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means the razors will not be mirror finished and will not be mark-free. The razors may have some milling marks or finishing marks. The razors can always be jewelry polished by the client later but our goal is to sell the razor at the best possible tolerances and lowest possible price. The metal-on-metal contact from the handle locking against the base-plate will create a ring mark on the base. It's common for handles to have micro dents from the tumbled finish. Materials: Zinc Alloy, Chrome plated. Standard M5 x 0.8 threading (The Maggard V3 Standard head is a medium-aggressive head, so more aggressive than the standards most people start with, (34C, DE89 & R89), therefore it has a more versatile aggression range. I can use a Feather with no problem in the standard mild-medium razors I previously mentioned, not the case with the Maggard V3 standard head, I have to jump down to a Gillette Nacet(a cheaper blade mind you)👍, so I get a nice, close shave with less irritation for less money! (I have heavy, dense whisker growth and cowlicks all over my beard so my face is a good testing ground for razor heads). With my free 5-blade sampler & 5 pack of Nacets, you should be able to find a blade that shaves you great and costs you less, the whole point of it all! All of the blades in the 5-blade sampler are significantly cheaper than Feathers or a lot other brands, yet I’ve had great success with them. This would be an excellent razor for beginners and pros alike, people with average hands, average fingers, anyone looking for a razor with a mid-length handle or someone just looking for something unique to add to their collection.
